The final stop before WrestleMania 39 is bound for the Bell Centre, as Elimination Chamber emanates from Montreal and will stream live on BINGE this Sunday at 12pm AEDT. It will be the first Premium Live Event in Canada in 14 years, as a hometown hero plans to end a dominant Roman reign.

Sami Zayn will compete against the Tribal Chief for the Undisputed Universal Championship, as their rivalry reaches another climax following what happened at the Royal Rumble.

As Reigns is destined to walk into a hostile environment, the looming question surrounds Jey Uso and if he will pledge his loyalty to his cousin during the match.

Two Elimination Chamber matches with WrestleMania implications are also slated to take place, as the United States Championship and a Raw Women’s Title opportunity will be on the line.

Below is The Inner Sanctum‘s preview and predictions for each match at Elimination Chamber.

Edge & Beth Phoenix vs Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley

Picture: WWE

In their plot for revenge from what happened at Extreme Rules, Edge and Beth Phoenix will collide against The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley in a mixed tag team match.

The contest became official on the February 7 edition of Raw, where the Glamazon made the challenge and Balor quickly accepted.

Regardless if it is a tag team match, Ripley should not be losing and having her momentum derailed before her WrestleMania clash with Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

The Judgment Day should score another strong victory against their bitter rivals, but Elimination Chamber will not be where this feud reaches it’s conclusion.

This mixed tag team match is shaping to set up a final one-on-one between Edge and Balor at WrestleMania, which would then culminate this extensive program that has spanned for nearly 12 months.

In that contest, the Rated-R-Superstar can finally secure his win over Balor and end this rivalry on a high. As for Elimination Chamber, the focus should be about continuing to build the Eradicator and further priming her for Charlotte in April.

Prediction: Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley

Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley

Picture WWE

Tied at one win each, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley will meet at Elimination Chamber for their third and potential final singles match.

Their prolonged rivalry dates back to last year’s Royal Rumble, before the Beast renewed festivities on Raw XXX by costing the Almighty the United States Championship. Lashley was then able to eliminate Lesnar from the men’s Royal Rumble match and it prompted the latter to organise a contract for a collision in Montreal.

While it was suspected that the two behemoths would challenge each other at WrestleMania instead for their third match, a fourth encounter is still possible for Sofi Stadium. It is difficult to see what other direction the pair will follow for the ‘grandest stage of them all’ and the result at Elimination Chamber should indicate their plans.

If this contest ends decisively, the Beast and Almighty’s program should conclude and not progress beyond this Sunday. An unclean finish could also be on the cards and would result in a fourth match between Lesnar and Lashley for Hollywood, despite the fact this rivalry has dragged on for too long.

WrestleMania is also deemed as the reset button for WWE and the setting where lengthy rivalries come to a close, as it would seem unusual for a storyline that began more than a year ago would end at an event like Elimination Chamber.

Prediction: No contest

Theory (c) vs Rollins vs Gargano vs Reed vs Priest vs Ford – United States Championship

Picture: WWE

En route to WrestleMania 39 where he is projected to face John Cena, Austin Theory enters a roadblock and will defend his United States Championship against five other competitors in the men’s Elimination Chamber.

Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed, Damian Priest and Montez Ford all won their respective qualifying matches on episodes of Monday Night Raw to earn their positions.

Ford and Priest can immediately be ruled out as options to capture the United States Championship, since the former is in a tag team and the latter is still involved in ongoing disputes with Edge as part of The Judgment Day.

While Reed is a dark horse, it could be premature for him to secure the gold after only making his main roster in-ring debut last month. Gargano just recently returned from injury at the Royal Rumble and has not appeared to win over the fans yet.

Rollins has been involved with the United States Championship for a prolonged amount of time and should move on to a new angle, which should be competing against Logan Paul at WrestleMania since it has been teased from the Royal Rumble.

The men’s Chamber could steal the show and each competitor will have a great showcase, especially Bronson Reed who the WWE Universe have not seen much of. However, Theory is the right winner to retain his title and walk into a major match against the 16-time world champion at WrestleMania.

It would put an enormous spotlight on the United States Championship and complement a potential match between Gunther, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Title. The midcard championships would receive significant exposure, as both have been overshadowed by more focused storylines at WrestleMania in recent memory.

Prediction: Austin Theory

Asuka vs Morgan vs Rodriguez vs Cross vs Natalya vs Carmella

Picture: WWE

After Rhea Ripley chose to challenge Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, Bianca Belair was left without an opponent for her Raw Women’s Championship and it now sets the stage for a six-woman Elimination Chamber match.

Asuka, Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan and Nikki Cross were all gifted spots for being the last four competitors eliminated in the women’s Royal Rumble.

Natalya and Carmella qualified by winning fatal-4-way matches on Smackdown and Raw respectively, though they are the least likely to emerge victorious inside the dangerous structure.

Asuka, Rodriguez and Morgan are the only legitimate candidates to walk out of Elimination Chamber as the number one contender for Bianca Belair’s championship. However, it is too early for Rodriguez to have a high-profile title match at WrestleMania and Liv Morgan was just the Smackdown Women’s Champion only four months ago.

Therefore, it leaves the Empress of Tomorrow to challenge the E.S.T for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania and rightfully so. Asuka is a fan favourite and has recently embarked on a gimmick change, long overdue for a title reign after not holding any singles gold for two years.

Prediction: Asuka

Roman Reigns (c) vs Sami Zayn – Undisputed Universal Championship

Picture: WWE

Ever since Elimination Chamber was announced for Montreal, it was certain that Sami Zayn was going to have a prominent position on the show and that has come to fruition.

He will receive an Undisputed Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns in the main event, just three weeks after suffering a hellacious assault from the group for betraying the Tribal Chief.

Zayn demanded the title shot on the February 4 edition of Smackdown, as Reigns accepted and wanted to defend the gold at Elimination Chamber. The champion vowed to destroy his former Honorary Uce in front of his family and loved ones, seeking revenge for how Jey Uso left and fractured The Bloodline at the Royal Rumble.

While most desired for this match at WrestleMania or are hoping for the challenger to be inserted in the main event between Reigns and Cody Rhodes, the Tribal Chief is sure to retain the Undisputed Universal Championship and Jey Uso could be the key that unlocks this scenario.

Despite the Undisputed Tag Team Champion and former Honorary Uce sharing a strong relationship, Jey could interfere in the favour of Reigns and assure his allegiance to his cousin by costing Zayn.

It is also possible that he misses Elimination Chamber, but the interference would allow Reigns to switch his focus to the American Nightmare and Sami would turn his attention to The Usos for an Undisputed Tag Team Title match at WrestleMania with Kevin Owens.

The Prizefighter could also make his return on Sunday afternoon, as he has not been seen since the Royal Rumble. Owens and Zayn could officially realign with each other, sharing a special moment in front of their hometown to set up their hopeful triumph at WrestleMania against Jimmy and Jey.

Prediction: Roman Reigns
