Charles was a key cog in the Fever mid-court, playing across both centre and wing attack in season 2021. She led the competition this year in goal assists, with a total of 336 from 545 feeds into the circle.
Her connection with the recently re-signed Jhaniele Fowler has proven to be a huge asset to the Fever, the pair making for a proven avenue to goal.
With the two signing on until the end of 2023, that connection will continue. Charles said she was looking forward to continuing her career in Western Australia in front of the Green Army.
“I am really excited and my gratitude and appreciation to be a part of this club is super high right now,” Charles said

“I have stayed here for so long is because it becomes a family. It’s more than a club, it’s more than netball, and it’s more than a sport.
“We’re looked after as athletes, yes, but also as people at the club. And that’s something that means a lot to me.
“We’ve got unfinished business. It was a tough year this year. We’ve learned, we’ve seen what we need to do, and I think now we’ll put the goods through.
“It’s really exciting times at Fever.”
Charles joins Fowler and Fever captain Courtney Bruce on the Fever roster for 2022, which will be the first season under new coach Dan Ryan.
She will now shift her attention to the upcoming Diamonds campaign, with Charles currently in Queensland preparing for the upcoming series against the England Roses.
