Each week, The Inner Sanctum takes a look at the top performers from each AFL game and attempts to predict where the umpires votes will lie.
Patrick Cripps returned from his hamstring injury to reclaim the top spot in the Brownlow predictions after a stellar performance in round 6, while fellow superstars Christian Petracca, Lachie Neale and Andrew Brayshaw remain right on his heels.

GWS Giants vs St.Kilda Saints
The Saints grinded out a hard fought win over the Giants on Friday night.
Jack Higgins continued his fantastic form this season with four goals from 18 disposals in a game defining display.
Captain Jack Steele led from the front for his side, collecting 29 disposals (16 contested) and eight tackles.
Josh Battle underlined the Saints performance with a valiant effort as an undersized ruckman, while still collecting 23 disposals and 10 marks.

Western Bulldogs vs Adelaide Crows
The Crows stunned the Bulldogs in Ballarat by a single point, compounding the Dogs rough start to the year.
Rory Laird stood up for the Crows in the midfield, collecting 30 disposals and landing 11 tackles.
Tom Doedee dominated across the backline for the Crows, receiving nine coaches votes with his 14 disposal and six mark effort.
Tom Liberatore did everything he could for the Bulldogs, gaining 33 disposals, 10 tackles and nine clearances.

Port Adelaide Power vs West Coast Eagles
The Power finally got their season started with a thumping win over the Eagles.
Connor Rozee was dominant for his side, collecting 31 disposals, five tackles, eight clearances and seven marks.
Dan Houston continues to have a career best season, kicking a goal and gaining 33 disposals.
Todd Marshall impressed in the Power forward line, kicking five goals and taking 11 marks.

Fremantle Dockers vs Carlton Blues
The Dockers tore apart the Blues on Saturday, derailing their momentum on the year.
Patrick Cripps is the only player to have 30 disposals and three goals in a game this year…twice. He had 32 disposals and three goals in the loss, seemingly wrapping up a rare three votes in a losing side.
Andrew Brayshaw continues to impress for the Dockers, with 27 disposals, five marks, eight tackles and seven clearances.
Lachie Schultz was equally as damaging for Fremantle, with three goals, 11 marks and five tackles highlighting an important display.

North Melbourne Kangaroos vs Geelong Cats
The Cats demolished the increasingly disappointing Kangaroos in Tasmania.
Jeremy Cameron could have taken the fight up to North Melbourne alone with his seven goal effort.
Zach Tuohy had plenty of the footy for Geelong, with 32 disposals, nine marks and eight intercepts.
Joel Selwood was impressive again, having 24 disposals and eight tackles.

Gold Coast Suns vs Brisbane Lions
The Lions were ruthless in their demolition of the Suns in the Q clash.
Zac Bailey had a career best outing in front of goal, kicking six goals from his 17 disposals and getting best on ground.
Jarryd Lyons had 30 disposals and kicked a goal, with 10 tackles and 13 clearances in a dominant midfield game.

Richmond Tigers vs Melbourne Demons
The reigning premiers continued their dominance with a win against the Tigers.
Clayton Oliver was deemed best on ground with his 41 disposals, 13 clearances and nine inside 50’s.
Ed Langdon had a great game out on the wing, with 30 disposals and a goal.
For the Tigers, Nick Vlastuin tried his hardest to drag them back in it. He had 30 disposals, 12 marks and 13 intercepts.

Hawthorn Hawks vs Sydney Swans
The Hawks started on fire but faded against the Swans, who ran out 41 point winners.
Callum Mills was prolific for the Swans, having 37 disposals, 11 marks, nine inside 50’s, seven intercepts and six clearances.
Chad Warner continues to prove his worth to this young Swans side, having 24 disposals and kicking two goals.
Lance Franklin was elite and threatened to do even more, kicking three goals from seven scoring shots and taking six marks.

Essendon Bombers vs Collingwood Magpies
The Magpies were successful on ANZAC day football in another classic, defeating the Bombers by 11 points.
The Pies Jack Ginnivan received the ANZAC medal for best on ground, kicking five goals and turning the game into his side’s favour.
If the Bombers were to win, Darcy Parish would have certainly been labelled best on ground. He had 44 disposals and 12 clearances with seven of those out of the center.
Jack Crisp had plenty of the footy for the Pies as well, gathering 24 disposals, five marks, five tackles and four inside 50’s.
