Josh Kelly has been in great form of late and should score big this weekend. Photo: AFL.com.au

Six games spread out over five days means plenty of time to ponder vice-captain and captain options and give yourself the best chance of a good score in the second of the bye rounds. The SuperCoach Sanctum PODcast team have run their eye over the form to determine the best choices for the 12 teams playing this week.

Josh Kelly – $619,600

Fresh off the bye and in good SuperCoach form, Kelly is primed to score big in Round 13.

His past three scores are 156, 125 and 131, his last score against North Melbourne is 147 and he has a high score at Marvel Stadium of 205!

With points in abundance in the midfield against the inexperienced Kangaroos, expect Kelly and other Giants mids to score big. A Sunday afternoon game gives you plenty of other matches prior to try your luck with your VC also.

Captain Confidence Rating: 8/10

Darcy Parish – $625,800

Parish has quietly been putting together another great SuperCoach season, with all bar two scores above 100 and a low of 97. The last four weeks have been amongst his best, with scores of 139, 109, 128 and 142.

With the pressure on the Bombers to perform under the Friday night lights against the Blues, Parish will be keen to rack up the contested stats and help his side grab an unlikely win. With no obvious VC options in the Thursday night Power-Tigers matchup, Parish is a great option.

Captain Confidence Rating: 7/10

Sean Darcy – $577,500

It is all or nothing with Darcy, so we are hoping for an all week. In the past five weeks, he has scored 178, 134 and 141, but amongst them scores of just 51 and 59.

With a game at home against the Hawks, who continue to run with inexperienced ruckmen, Darcy should have the bulk of the hit-outs. If he can direct them to advantage and take a few marks around the ground, he should post a 130+ score.

Captain Confidence Rating: 7/10

Unique Captain Choice – Sam Walsh – $629,500

Walsh can be considered a unique option, given he is only in 7% of teams, although we expect this to increase significantly given he has already had his bye.

His last three games have been his best of the season, racking up scores of 149, 133 and 123. He finally appears to be in a groove, fully fit and impacting games as we expect of such a young player.

Captain Confidence Rating: 7/10

Last Week: O’Brien 78, Oliver 134, Petracca 70, Miller 167, English 80
