Hailing from Black Forest in South Australia, Bronson Reed will have the biggest match of his WWE career next week when he challenges Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship.

The Aussie Destroyer successfully defeated Chad Gable and Ricochet in an impressive triple threat match on today’s Raw to earn the opportunity, with his sights now set on the Ring General.

It comes after Reed declared earlier in the year with The Inner Sanctum that he would love to win a title on the main roster, now being one step closer to making that goal a reality.

The man standing in his way is arguably the toughest assignment in WWE, as Gunther is the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time and doesn’t plan to lose his prestigious prize anytime soon.

While the Aussie Destroyer has never competed against the Ring General in WWE, the two have previously wrestled each other on the independent circuit in Australia, the United States, England and Germany.

Reed has tasted championship gold in WWE before, becoming NXT North American Champion in 2021. He was unfortunately released shortly after and arrived back to the company late last year, transitioning into one of the more exciting attractions on the red brand.

Don’t miss Bronson Reed’s Intercontinental Championship match against Gunther on next Tuesday’s Season Premiere of Raw, live at 11am AEDT on BINGE.
