The South African shooter has played two strong seasons for the Adelaide Thunderbirds, starring as goal shooter for the team in that time.
Potgieter has almost 900 goals to her name in that time, but more importantly for the Thunderbirds, she has shot at almost 95 per cent accuracy while doing so.
The signing completes the Adelaide Thunderbirds shooting circle, Georgie Horjus and Tippah Dwan having previously been announced as shooters for the Club for 2022.

Thunderbirds High Performance Manager Pitre Bourdon was delighted that Potgieter was returning to the Club in 2022.
“Lenize brings significant experience to our side and has been a strong target for us in attack for the past two seasons,” Bourdon said.
“She has developed great combinations with the attackers around her and we look forward to this growing even further in 2022.”
Potgieter’s combination with Horjus will be key for the club, as both Horjus and Potgieter grow their respective games.
It will also be key for Potgieter to develop a strong relationship with new recruit Tippah Dwan, who will likely join her in the circle throughout the 2022 season.
The Adelaide Thunderbirds have now announced nine players for the 2022 season, with just one further signing to complete the team.
