Parmenter has played a fundamental role in the Giants’ lineup since her debut season in 2019, where she recorded the most intercepts of any mid-courter in the competition and was awarded the Rising Star Award.

This year alone, the 24-year-old collected a total of 31 intercepts across 16 games to appear in the Nissan Net Points Team of the Week in seven rounds of the home and away season.

Bringing tenacity, versatility and passion to the orange dress, Parmenter has worked her way into the Diamond’s squad after producing consistent performances all year.

Across her three seasons, Parmenter has played 43 games for the club, missing just the two games due to injury or illness, a true testament to her playing ability.

A product of Randwick Netball Association, Parmenter says she’s excited to continue her Super Netball journey with the Giants family.

“I bleed orange,” she said.

“Each year I feel like we get a little bit better, a little closer to that trophy and 2021 has set us up really well.

“As much as the Grand Final experience broke our hearts, it will only do us good and fuel the fire for 2022.

“With some new and fresh faces, I’m excited to see how we can continue to grow as a club and challenge each other to become better on and off the court.”

Parmenter joins captain Jo Harten, young guns Tilly McDonell and Sophie Dwyer, as well as in-from defender April Brandley and fellow Diamonds squad member Jamie-Lee Price as Giants for 2022 and beyond.

Clubs have until October 8 to finalise their squads, with more announcements to be made in the coming days.
