The Melbourne Vixens have appointed a pair of experienced players to lead the team in 2024.

Melbourne Vixens midcourter Kate Moloney will once again lead the side for Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) season 2024.

Heading into her 12th SSN season at the club, the milestone adds to a growing list of accolades which includes becoming the first Vixen to play 150 matches.

The 31-year-old has held both captain and vice-captaincy positions since 2017.

For Moloney, the opportunity is one in which she is looking forward to.

“It means so much to be named captain for season 2024. It’s always such an honour and something that I never take for granted to lead this amazing club,” Moloney said.
