The WWE’s British stars are preparing to perform on their home turf, as Wales gets ready to host Clash at the Castle on September 4 in Cardiff. Doudrop is a Scotswoman, settling into life in the United States and looking forward to next month’s event at Principality Stadium.

After making her main roster debut in June last year on Raw, Doudrop (previously known as Piper Niven) praised the female locker room and opened up about her transition from the United Kingdom to America.

“Everywhere in America is so warm,” she said.

“As a plus size, partially ginger, very fair skinned Scotswoman I am not ok. I can’t wait for winter to come around!”

While she may not be particularly happy with the climate the United States presents, she was more receptive to her company backstage and how they have made her feel like she belongs.

“All of the Raw women’s locker room have been incredible in welcoming me and making me feel at home with them, but a special shout out has to go out to Nikki A.S.H., Tamina, Sarah Schreiber and Rhea Ripley.”

For several months, Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. have been a mainstay on Monday Night Raw and have been prominently featured in the women’s tag team division. They also participated in the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament, but suffered a loss in the first round to Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

Speaking more about the upcoming Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, the Scotswoman is not only looking forward to the show, but also the atmosphere the local attendance can bring.

“I think the fans can look forward to having the most exciting matches with the best WWE Superstars”, she said.

“I think it’s what the WWE Superstars can expect from the Welsh fans, because it’s going to be absolutely wild. It’s going to be crazy and it’s going be one of the best events they’ve ever performed at.”

While she has not been announced for the show, Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre will feature in the main event against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship.

Doudrop is also eager to spend time in Wales, due to the environment and community.

“I love that it’s so green and lovely and lush and all the people are just delightful,” she said.

“I love listening to them speak because it’s like a song when they talk. I love the Welsh.”

WWE Clash at the Castle will take place on September 4 at 3am AEST on the WWE Network.

Other matches that have been announced for the event are Riddle vs Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss vs Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai, and Liv Morgan defending the Smackdown Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler.

It will be the first time WWE has returned to the United Kingdom for a stadium show since SummerSlam in 1992, 30 years ago.
