The English Rose, who recently returned home after the 2021 season, will return for a sixth season with the Fever, where she has played since 2017.

In her 86 national league games so far, Francis-Bayman has played both wing defence and goal defence for the Fever.

That versatility was key for former coach Stacey Marinkovich, and it is expected to be the same under new coach Dan Ryan, as the Fever mix up their defensive end depending on the opponent.

The 33 year old explained that she was excited to be returning to the only Australian club she has ever paid for.

“Perth is my home away from home and I have felt so much love and support from the green army from day one,” she said.

“I have been on a huge journey with the Club as both a person and a player and I still feel like we have unfinished business.

“I’m looking forward to another challenging year and pushing us forward towards our first premiership.”

Francis-Bayman had 17 gains, 33 deflections and 90 centre pass receives over the 2021 season.

The Fever have now named nine players for the 2022 roster, with just one more player to be named.
