Emily Moore will continue her stay in Brisbane, signing a multi-year deal with the Queensland Firebirds.

Hailing from Sydney, Moore was part of the GIANTS Academy for several years. She wore the orange dress in the Australian National Championships in 2022, being one of the standouts for the GIANTS.

She was elevated for the 2023 Super Netball season as a permanent replacement player for Gretel Bueta.

Moore debuted in the purple dress in Round One and quickly made her presence felt in the shooting circle. The 26-year-old make 13 appearances this season.

Moore is a two time premiership player in the NSW Premier League with North Shore United. She has earned her first senior contract and is excited to represent Queensland again.

β€œI’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Firebirds family again and can’t wait to see what this group will achieve in 2024,” she said.

Head Coach Bec Bulley is proud of Moore’s efforts to push into the starting seven during the 2023 season.

β€œEmily has shown she is more than capable at SSN level and really seized the chance handed to her last season with both hands,” Bulley said.

β€œI’m delighted Emily will be with us again in 2024 and am looking forward to her continuing to show her leadership and skill in the purple dress.”
