Chelsea Pitman.
English Rose Chelsea Pitman has revealed that she hopes to be back playing professional netball in the Vitality Netball Superleague as early as 2022.
Pitman, who most recently played for the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the Suncorp Super Netball until she was sensationally released in 2020, has remained coy on where her future in the sport is.
With plenty of speculation Melbourne Vixens could be home after Liz Watson’s injury, Pitman watered down those rumours to confirm England was on the agenda.
“Next season. This season in the UK with COVID I couldn’t commit leaving my family with the uncertainty of what this season could of looked like,” she tweeted.
Pitman was named in Jess Thirlby’s England Roses program earlier this week despite not playing professional netball instead playing club netball in South Australia.
