The Adelaide 36ers will honour the 1998-99 NBL Championship team this Saturday against Melbourne United by wearing the jersey it donned 25 years ago.

The 36ers defeated the now defunct Victoria Titans, coached by current Boomers mentor Brian Goorjian, 2-1 in the series to win back-to-back titles.

Looking at the jersey last month, 36ers interim coach Scott Ninnis couldn’t hold back his smile.
