For the first time in 12 months, WWE has been graced with the attendance of its fan base, the WWE Universe.
A year ago, WWE’s biggest yearly event, WrestleMania, was forced behind closed doors and now it is the first event to feature fans.
Intercontinental Champion Big E said the build up has been excited, but he’s been more keen to get around his New Day mates, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
“The lead up has been cool,” Big E told The Inner Sanctum.
“One thing that I’m excited for in our build to WrestleMania is two days before I guess the day before Kofi and Woods would have their match, we have the very first time we’re coming back to doing a live version have our podcast, and we haven’t done that in a long time.

“And we’re going to have brunch and there will be bottomless mimosas.
“That’s really a highlight of my build towards WrestleMania, is brunch with the boys.”
While a meet up with mates has been a highlight for Big E, getting back in front of crowds is going to be huge.
“I think, just kind of for us the excitement is in getting back to what we do,” he said.
“When we all first started wrestling, I first started in 2009, and it was all about your ability to move a crowd.
“That’s the beauty of what we do. I think there are guys who can do it all in the ring, but don’t necessarily get that crowd reaction, and there are guys who really can’t aren’t that good in the ring, but get great reactions. I think the pandemic era kind of can expose certain people.
“I think the beautiful thing with getting back to crowds, is we’re getting back into the essence of our industry, of our craft, and I’m excited, I’m hoping that people are as excited as we are and that they’re loud. I hope we get to put on a great show for them too.”
Watch WrestleMania on WWE Network on Monday morning.
