A spicy encounter awaits if Kyrgios can defeat his qualifier, with an encounter against world No. 2 Daniil Medvedev the likely second matchup if both players win their first match.

Thanasi Kokkinakis vs Qualifier (TBA)

Kokkinakis will likely face Rafael Nadal in the second round if he can defeat the qualifier.

John Millman vs Feliciano Lopez (ESP)

The Aussie and Spaniard have met just once, with Millman taking the win in three sets at the ATP Masters 1000 in Canada in 2019.

James Duckworth vs Adrian Mannarino (FRA)

The pair have met twice, with Duckworth taking the most recent meeting in straight sets at Stuttgart.
