New Zealand was far too good for the new look Diamonds side, showing its dominance over the less experienced side.

What to expect

With the Diamonds bringing in Jaime-Lee Price into the side, she can add that aggression and toughness to the wing defence position and throughout the mid court.

The Diamonds will have more teething issues, especially down the attack end, as coach Stacey Marinkovich tried out new combinations.

For the Silver Ferns, as they say if it’s not broken don’t fix it.

With the Silver Ferns dominating last night, they’ll look to add to their quick and fast paced game style.

The potential addition of Kimiora Poi would add more of that quick speed through the midcourt

There are two potential debutants for the Australians tonight with shooter Sophie Garbin and defender Kim Jenner, the only two named in tonight’s team that are yet to debut.

Ameliaranne Ekenasio will be rested with Maddy Gordon coming into potentially make her debut.
