Our Aussies continued to provide strong production for their teams through Week 7 of NBA action with the week highlighted by Josh Giddey being named the Western Conference Rookie of the Month for October and November.
Patty Mills
3 Games, 2 Wins, 15.0pts, 1.0reb, 2.0ast, 1.3stl
Patty Mills has continued to show one he was one of the NBA’s best offseason signs, continuing to provide the Brooklyn Nets with scoring and reliable three-point shooting.
Mills again started all three games for the Nets this week, scoring in double digits in all of them. His best game of the week came against the Minnesota Timberwolves where he dropped 23 points and three assists on eight-of-15 shooting and four-of-nine from deep.
Mills also was able to show some of his defensive ability, able to collect at least one steal in all three games this week.
The Nets guard is currently shooting 47.4% from three-point range on 6.6 attempts a game, ranking him as one of the best shooters in the league.
Joe Ingles
3 Games, 3 Wins, 10.0pts, 2.3reb, 3.7ast
Joe Ingles and the Utah Jazz had a perfect week, able to win all three of their games, knocking off the Portland Trailblazers, Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Ingles started for the Jazz in their matchup against the Trailblazers, putting up 14 points to go along with six assists on four from eight shooting from behind the arc. Ingles was then relegated back to the bench for the Jazz after two games of the week where his production reduced only scoring in single digits.
The Jazz currently sit third in the West Conference and are currently riding a four game win streak.
Josh Giddey
1 Game, 0 Wins, 2.0pts, 5.0reb, 7.0ast, 1.0stl, 2.0blk
Josh Giddey was only able to suit up for one game this week for the Thunder after missing the teams’ final two games of the week against the Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzlies with the flu.
In the sole game in played Giddey had an underwhelming performance only able to score two points, shooting one-of-nine from the field as well as collecting five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two blocks.
Giddey was however named as the NBA’s Western Conference Rookie of the Month for October and November in the middle of the week for his outstanding start to his NBA career.
Giddey averaged 10.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists throughout the opening two months of the season.

Matisse Thybulle
3 Games, 2 Wins, 4.0pts, 2.7reb, 0.6 ast
It was a down week for Matisse Thybulle, unable to have the same impact on the game as we have become accustomed to thus far this season. Thybulle was only able to get one steal and two blocks through three games, a drop off from the two steals and 1.4 blocks he averages a game.
Thybulle impact offensively was minimal as well, only scoring 12 points through three games and going scoreless in the teams win over the Atlanta Hawks to finish the week.
His best game for the week came against the Orlando Magic at the start of the week where he scored seven points on three-of-five shooting and got one block.
Expect Thybulle to bounce back next week with important games against the Charlotte Hornets, Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors, all teams in playoff contention and therefore the 76ers will need Thybulle back to his best to slow the star players on these teams.
Jock Landale
2 Games, 2 Wins, 1.0pts
Landale again earned limited minutes for the San Antonio Spurs this week able to get court time in two of the teams three games. Both games which Landale suited up in the Spurs won with a victory over the Washington Wizards and Portland Trailblazers.
Against the Wizards, Landale played two minutes and scored two points. In the matchup against the Trailblazers, Landale got three minutes of court time at the end of regulation but was unable to put up any stats.
In the Spurs final game of the week against the Golden State Warriors, Landale was unable to earn any minutes.
