Patty Mills began the week by being named as a starter for the Brooklyn Nets with Joe Harris set to miss with an ankle injury. Mills first game starting for the Nets did not go to plan, losing to the Golden State Warriors and only managing eight points.

The two games that followed for Mills were much better shooting 50% from three and having 20-point games against the Cavaliers and the Orlando Magic.

Mills now has scored 20 or more points in five of Brooklyn’s 17 games so far this season, exceeding expectations and currently sitting as a favourite for Sixth Man of the Year.

Joe Ingles

3 Games, 3 Wins, 7.3pts, 5.3reb, 6.0ast, 1.3stl

After a disappointing week prior where the Jazz only managed one win, they were able to bounce back in Week 5 of the NBA going winning all three games, with Aussie Joe Ingles also playing much more productively.

Ingles struggled last week to impact the game however this week was able to find his shot again, shooting much better from deep. He also was able to play more of a playmaking role averaging six assists over the three-game stretch, a part of his game that is often undervalued.

Ingles best game of the week came against the Toronto Raptors where he flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 10 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Ingles also had his best week defensively able to grab a steal in every game, averaging 1.3 over the week.
