The Adelaide 36ers have parted ways with coach CJ Bruton, with assistant coach and Hall of Famer Scott Ninnis to take charge for the rest of NBL24.
Bruton has been in charge of the 36ers since the start of the NBL22 season, but the club failed to make the play-offs in either of the NBL22 or NBL23 seasons.
The NBL legend guided the 36ers to their historic win over the Phoenix Suns just over 12 months ago, but a 4-9 record this season
“We thank CJ for his tireless efforts, both on an off the court, but we believe it’s time to go in a new direction,” Adelaide 36ers chief executive Nic Barbato said.
“The 36ers organisation would like to thank CJ for his time at the Club and wish him and his family all the best for their future endeavours.”
